Our “Carbon Offset” program provides a thoughtful answer for TTC customers. By buying inexpensive carbon offsets, you can significantly neutralize the negative environmental impact of your travel. In this program we can reduce greenhouse gases by an amount equal to your airline flights. These “carbon offsets” provide immediate funding for programs dedicated to effectively creating cleaner air for all of us.

TTC has partnered with Sustainable Travel International (STI) to purchase carbon offsets from their portfolio of innovative renewable energy and environmental projects. STI is dedicated to providing education and outreach services that will lessen the toll that travel and tourism take on the environment and on local cultures. When you buy a carbon offset, your purchase supports:

• Renewable energy on power grids

• Solar power systems for schools and public buildings

• Wind power systems for farms, ranches, and communities

• Watershed restoration to improve water quality and native fish habitats

• Re-create critical forests
